Our Story

Founder & Director – Suzanne Tucker

Suzanne Tucker founded Home Alone Support Services with a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves clarity, dignity, and real human support when navigating the complex world of NDIS and aged care. Suzanne created Home Alone Support Services to help families cut through the confusion and access support in a way that feels respectful, empowering, and truly helpful .Her passion for this work grew from both professional and deeply personal experience. After more than a decade helping families and individuals thrive through The After School Klub (TASK), Suzanne saw firsthand how overwhelming support systems can feel.

At the same time, her own journey as a parent supporting a child with Type 1 Diabetes, and as the daughter of aging parents with complex needs, gave her a personal understanding of the challenges many families face. These experiences shaped her mission to create services that cut through the confusion and provide support that is not only practical, but genuinely compassionate and human.

These experiences ignited Suzanne’s commitment to creating a service that approaches support differently — one that focuses not just on processes and paperwork, but on people. Through Home Alone Support Services, Suzanne is dedicated to helping individuals and families feel informed, confident, and supported at every step of their journey.

At the heart of Suzanne’s work is a simple mission: to make complex systems easier to navigate, to treat every person with dignity and respect, and to ensure that no family feels alone when seeking the support they need.
